As a child, learning to ride a bike can be a scary thing! As a parent, teaching your child isn’t always as smooth as your parents may have made it sound. We hear it frequently: my child just doesn’t get it! Good news: Skills on the Hill Pediatric Therapy has you covered. You CAN do this.
Our owner and director, Kristen Masci, has been called the Bike Whisperer and has taught 100s of children to ride their bikes over the years. Her 10-step method, EASY RIDER, lays out all of the steps to follow to get kids going with this important life skill. During a 1:1 lesson, steps are presented in a careful and gradual manner. For children that do not learn right away, strategies are provided to help guide parents with additional practice at home.
Practice definitely makes perfect! You CAN do this! With EASY RIDER, therapists take extra care to tackle tricky questions and unique challenges that families have because we know that not all children learn the same way.
