SOTH Physical Education

PE is fun at SOTH! Get outside and get moving with your favorite therapists in the park! Geared towards ages 7-12, children will learn and practice exercises in a fun, theme-based circuits using a small group format. Group members will receive instruction in specific movements/exercises involving timing and coordination such as jump rope, jumping jacks, grapevine, ball tricks, and other “stunts”. Special focus will be placed on achieving overall physical movement and setting weekly activity goals to combat the seated virtual blues!

When are groups run?

Session 2: 8 week program runs from 10/26/20-12/18/20

  • In-person session: Wednesdays at 10:15am-11:15am

  • Virtual option: Fridays 9:00am-10:00am

Cosmic Movement: 8 week program runs from 8/31/20-10/23/20

  • Virtual option: Fridays 9:00am-10:00am

*times are subject to change pending confirmation of school district online learning schedules

  • PE DC: Outdoor location TBD – within 2 mile proximity to Capitol Hill office

  • PE VA: Outdoor location TBD – within 2 mile proximity to Columbia Pike office

Program Pricing

  • SOTH PE Boosters are offered for $350 per 8 week session meeting 1x/week
