Based on Mayor Bowser’s recent announcement regarding the requirement to self-quarantine after travel (see link below), we will be adding the following points to our COVID-19 policy:
- Any client who is a resident of DC and travels to one of the states on the DC high risk list (see link below) will not permitted into Skills on the Hill for therapy for 14 days after returning per the Mayor’s order. The client’s therapy sessions will be transitioned to teletherapy for the duration of self-quarantine.
- Any client who attends therapy at the SOTH DC office, regardless of place of residence, who travels to one of the states on the DC high risk list will not per permitted into the DC clinic for 14 days after returning per the Mayor’s order. The client’s therapy sessions will be transitioned to teletherapy for the duration of self-quarantine.
Per the Mayor’s order, the high-risk state list will be updated on Monday, August 10 (and every 2 weeks after). The most current list will apply. The order is in effect until October 10, so the policy will be in effect until then. If it is extended, then the policy will be extended. The same policy will apply to staff going forward.
